blog love

One of my favourite home design magazines Inside Out has recently launched their blog. Now I won't have to wait longingly for each issue and savor every page, instead get my fix everyday on their blog!

Plus, if anyone bought this month's issue they would have received the fabulous free gift (and who doesn't love something for nothing, especially when its beautifully designed!). A eco-gorgeous hemp bag organiser designed by Grace Lee, one of the Inside Out designers.
So thank you Inside Out and Grace, my ipod/gloss/phone/sunnies/keys/etc now can be found in an instance rather than a hour of shaking and muttering to myself!

I am in awe of a new and exciting blog which I've been recommended to by a friend. So much so, I had to share: decor8

Founder and Editor Holly Becker is a writer and interior design consultant who splits her time between New Hampshire and Germany, and "is a design blog dedicated to sharing decorating ideas, interiors, independent art and design, products and services, and to inspire readers to live a more fulfilling, creative life". Something I truly believe in and inspired by.

I am a sucker for typorgraphy. Whether it be an old painted sign from the 60's or a beautifully crafted typeface. So here are few images I've found on some new blogs:
Although I can't read french (and trying to remember my year 8 French), this is truly still very inspiring: marieclairemaison I would love a wall with 3d type on it, possibly in my future studio or office?

Spell with flickr, is this great site for creating words through photos. Its so simple, just type in a word and hey presto! If you don't like the letters, you can just click on them to change. I could spend hours here, creating words.

I love this inspiration board. The fabric board is a great idea for a softer look, rather than the ugly corkboard most commonly used. More beautiful images found at Melanie Falick Books - Sewing green.

We're in the process of taking photos of all of our products at the moment. After a few set backs of our digi camera dying and saving up for a new one, and finding time between sunlight and full time work, is drawing out the timeline. Our products include feather filled cushions, linen tea towels, linen napkins with embroidered borders, children's tradtional bloomers, little girls summer pin-tuck dresses, baby muslin wraps with verying bias binding, baby singlets with embroidery, old-fashioned money purses, and more. So sit tight!
